Time in Art and Design Evening (Lecture)
Time is in every part of the designed experience - and everything is designed. Projects and conversation will explore the ideas of how we perceive or senses (Biological Time), expressing your experiences through gesture or the bearing of information (Mechanical Time), proprioception (Agrarian Time) and lastly Open Works (Digital Time). We will examine the six distinct temporal dimensions: sequential structure, duration, planning, rate of recurrence, synchronization and temporal perspective through simple stop action animations.
